Lucy-Liu

Lucy Liu (born Lucy Liu) is an American actor, voice actress director producer, and vocalist. She is a beautiful and knowledgeable actress she serves as an inspiration to many Asian actors who want to be successful in Hollywood. The early successes of her were boosted by her appearance on some of the most popular TV shows. There, she portrayed the evil Ling Woo. Following her success, she landed major roles in Shanghai Noon (1998) and Charlie's Angels (2000). She gave a stellar performance in the role of Japanese gangster O-Ren Ishii (Quentin Tarantino) in Kill Bill Volume 1 by Quentin Tarantino. In the same period she appeared in box-office flops like Rise: Blood Hunter. In the following years, she started voicing characters from animated films like Kung Fu Panda or Tinker Bell. Mia Mason, in Cashmere Mafia and other small-screen roles failed to bring her any success. Southland's critically acclaimed police series, Southland and a recurring role helped Liu re-establish her status as a well-known actress. Liu chooses her roles carefully so that she doesn't get typecast in a competitive industry. As much as she loves her culture, it hasn't limited her when it comes to her career being an artist.
