Sheryl Underwood is an American comedian and television host best known as the host on The Talk, a popular talk show broadcast on daytime television. Sheryl was born and brought up in Little Rock. Sheryl was raised by a difficult family. Sheryl was fostered by her sister Frankie. Frankie had suffered from her own illness called Polio. When she was growing up, Sheryl was plagued by problems with her mother. Sheryl states that one time her mother cut her dad for being too close to him. Sheryl became a member of the military right after her graduation from the college. Sheryl's passion for comedy was evident. She was selected as the first female winner of the Miller Lite Comedy Search, that was held in the year 1989. Her TV career started in 1992, as a performer for the HBO comedy program Def Comedy Jam. In 2000, she was host of the T.V. talk show Oh Drama! Since 2011, she has been appearing as a co-host on The Talk, a talk show. The Talk. In addition she has also been in fictional roles on shows like Bulworth Nikki, and Beauty Shop.
