
In the mid-1990s In the late 1990s, Selleck was a well-loved guest star in the mid-1990s on Friends. He was Monica Geller, her romantic interest, and won an Emmy nomination. Selleck was a star in numerous TV films that came out in the new millennium. The most notable of these was the Jesse Stone series in which Selleck played an New England police chief. The actor received yet another Emmy nomination for his performance and also served as the executive producer for the films. Selleck portrays a policeman who is a member of a multigenerational family. This role was featured in Blue Bloods that premiered on CBS in the year 2010. Selleck eventually made it to the big screen. Along with Ted Danson and Steve Guttenberg he appeared in Three Men and a Baby, which was a hugely popular comedy. It was the top-grossing film ever.
